Smt. Veeramma Gangasiri Degree College for Women, was the first and only College in the entire region of Hyderabad Karnataka established in the year 1965, with a magnificent donation from Late Sri Basawanappa Gangasiri. The College is named after the Donor’s Mother Smt. Veeramma Gangasiri.

From a humble beginning to a glorious present and promising future College has gradually grown from strength to strength. The entire Staff has been relentlessly setting high standards and achieving new mile stones. Our aim is not only to attain the success but to sustain it and produce talented, young and dynamic professionals. Our Students have been trained in an atmosphere that is creative, harmonizing and challenging to tackle the intense competition.

This can be achieved if the right kind of education, soft skills, communication, language skills and computer knowledge are imparted to the Students.

I strongly believe that our Students are Success Oriented, they can set a goal for themselves and confidence to accomplish.
