DEPARTMENT PROFILE

History of the Department:

Introduction:

Electronics is the branch of Science and Technology by which controlling energy electrically in which the electrons have a fundamental rule. Electronics deals with electrical circuits that in active electrical components such as vacuum tube, transistors, diodes, integrated circuits, an associated passive electronic components. The electronic devices and their usages have influenced our daily life in such a way that it is impossible to spend even a few hours without them. Right from beginning on the day till the time to go to bed, we use large number of gadgets to simplify our work and to solve our problems.

The world is changing with a rate speed and the speed is fastened with help of electronics and the technology is created using the Electronics. The electronics department was established in the year 1988 to empower women to study the electronics as one of the optional subject along with Physics and Mathematics (PME) combination. The Students intake capacity of the department is 40. Prof.B.S.Biradar was founder head of the department.  In the year 2004 Prof.B.S.Biradar handed over the electronics department charge to Sri. Y.N.Ravindra sir.
